Are your home improvement wish lists ready? The 42nd annual Winnipeg Home + Garden Show opens tomorrow
, April 1st and runs until Sunday, April 3rd at the RBC Convention Centre. The show is the place to shop, find inspiration, and get real expert advice on your home and garden needs from over 175 local vendors, all under one roof. Itching to plan your visit? Opening Night Housewarming Party
To kick off the weekend, the Winnipeg Home + Garden Show will be hosting an Opening Night Housewarming Party on Friday, April 1st from 5PM-9PM, sponsored by Winnipeg’s hit music station, Energy 106. The first 50 guests to visit the Energy 106 booth at 5pm will receive curated goody bags filled with products from some of the show’s exhibitors and attendees can try their hand at a floral workshop hosted by Academy Florist.
Autograph Signings with Jillian Harris & Todd Talbot
Trying to decide if you should renovate or sell your home? Jillian Harris and Todd Talbot, the dynamic duo of W Network’s Love it or List it Vancouver
will be making their Winnipeg debut, and answering all of your renovation and design questions. Catch them on The Urban Barn Main Stage, presented by The Winnipeg Free Press
, as they talk “Renovations That Pay For Themselves (And Some That Don’t)” on Friday, April 1st at 7PM and Saturday, April 2nd at 3PM. Be sure to stick around after both presentations for your chance to meet Jillian and Todd and get an autograph or snap a selfie.
Better Gnomes + Gardens
Speaking of making a Winnipeg debut, it’s time to unveil the garden gnomes that ten of Winnipeg’s best-known media, designers, and community influencers have worked hard to creatively transform. Stop by Better Gnomes & Gardens at anytime during the show to place your bids on your favourite gnome with proceeds directly benefitting Winnipeg Harvest. Participants include:
